She is half German and half Indonesian and has lived and worked in seven countries. With her attention to detail, she curates itineraries to places that are both far and unknown, enabling travelers to experience off-the-beaten-path destinations in ways they never imagined possible. Desiree is a luxury hotel expert and has held several leadership positions across Europe and Asia, working in prestigious establishments like Ritz Paris, Hotel Arts Barcelona, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, and The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo. She has been recognized in the industry several times for her outstanding professional attitude and excellent leadership skills, including the “30 Under 30” award by Travel Agent Central in 2020.
